Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Herbal Treatments
Cystitis Herbal Capsules

Directions:

Take 5 capsules twice a day for 3 to 4 months, by then symptoms should be under control. Then take the same dosage every other week for two months. Then take one week a month until stop using Cystitis Capsules.

Ingredients:

Shanyurou (Cornus), Zhizi (Gardenia), Xianmao (Curculigo), Dahuang (Rhubarb), Buguzhi (Psoralea), Shutihang (Rehmannia Cooked).

Warning:

* Do not use Intercys if you are pregnant, or are breast feeding.
* To maintain freshness, store in a dry, cool place away from excessive heat and light.


Cystitis Herbal Tea

How to prepare the tea:

Put one bag of herbs into an empty non-metal pot and add one and one half cups of cold water. Bring the water to boiling then simmer for 10 minutes. Pour tea into a cup for drinking (without milk or sweeteners). (Note: The tea bag needs to be boiled together with water, not just the water alone.)

The dosages:

1. Initial Dosage: One bag, twice a day, morning and evening for six days. Then take daybreak and start the procedure over. Repeat this sequence until your symptoms are well under control. In general, it will take three to four months. Then use maintenance dosage. It is important for the first time patient to use one bag once a day for the initial three days.

2. The Maintenance Dosage: One bag, once a day for six days. Take daybreak and repeat sequence until condition is stable then go to the long-term dosage.

3. The Long Term Dosage: One bag, twice a day, morning and evening for six days once a month. Continue as long as needed.

4. The Flare Up Dosage: If symptoms reoccur during the maintenance or long term dosage, please go back to the initial dosage for a period of one week, When symptoms are again under control then continue with the dosage you were using previous to the flare up
